At Sacred Heart, to live simply we will…

  1. We will improve the prayer garden (allotment). Pupils will be involved in the design and creation of the garden. Each class will have an opportunity to hold outdoor collective worship/liturgies and pupils will be able to use the area individually at break times.

The greatest commandment, Love God and love one another. Matthew 23:36-40 Catholic Social Teaching – the common good.

2.  We will create a link with a local care home. Pupils will send letters/cards and visit the residents and they will spend time talking together and learning games such as dominoes.
The Choir will sing carols at a local care home to share Christmas joy.
