The aim of the programme is to teach the children about different learning and character attitudes. This is achieved by the children working collaboratively and engaging with the different missions within each topic of the Commando Joe’s programme of study. The programme is built upon RESPECT.
The children will undertake this work 3 times a year:
- Week 1 in Autumn Term – September
- Week 1 in Spring Term – January
- Last week in the Summer Term – July
The children will be taught specific skills from the RESPECT character attitudes within the programme of study. Throughout the term, these skills will be reinforced in the children’s daily experiences and work.
We will be relaunching the ‘Character Strength’ certificates this term. These will now focus on the 2 or 3 RESPECT character traits which have been taught.
