Key Stage 2 Pupil Voice
95% of children (19/20) say they feel safe in school. 5% (1/20) said they sometimes feel safe. 100% (20/20) said there is someone in school who they can talk to, if they feel worried or upset.
The pupils have asked for: longer play times, mosaic of the school, more recyclable artwork, more maths work, flowers planted around school, and more equipment for outdoor playtime.
The pupils say we do the following well: kind and respectful teachers, teachers who make learning clear and help us to feel positive and who keep us safe, lots of sports and music opportunities (representing school), school is clean, staff who encourage good behaviour and include everyone.
Welcome to our school’s website
Sacred Heart is a Voluntary Aided Primary school within the Archdiocese of Liverpool serving the Parish of St. John Rigby. A majority of pupils live in the Atherton and Tyldesley area, within the Borough of Wigan.
As a smaller than average Primary school, Sacred Heart is like ‘a family’. Our pupils are happy, resilient, enthusiastic, caring, responsible, well behaved and creative, to name but a few qualities! We hope that you will take time to find out more about us on our website and social media pages.
