Today, interview and tasks will be held for the successful candidates.
A selection of children from each class will share their learning with the whole school.
Alison Home (head of music for Wigan LA) will be visiting our Y 3 class to help them prepare for the Gala Concert taking place later in the year.
During this week, on nationally set days, children in Year 6 will sit their SATs. These tests are important. They inform the Secondary Schools of your child's ability and work is then set accordingly over the next 5 years.
As part of our Healthy Schools Program commitment, our children will have a water safety assembly led by the Canal and River Trust.
A meeting for parents of those children in Year 6 who attending the 5-day (4 nights) residential in Coniston (Lake District). Kit List and Medical form have been shared week commencing 18th March.
As part of our commitment to the Healthy Schools Program our Year 4 children will be trained as young leaders. This will include being trained on how to lead sessions during break and lunch times. Session will be run by Wigan School Games and Active Education Lead.
Today is the last day of this half term. Clubs operate as normal. School re-opens on Monday 3rd June.
