Children from other local primary schools (consortia of schools) will visit today to undertake a series of mathematical reasoning challenges with a selection of children from our Year 6 class.
This week, the children in Year 6 undertake the national SATs tests. Monday - 2 tests - Grammar and Punctuation Test followed by a Spelling Test Tuesday - 1 test - Reading Test Wednesday - 2 tests - Arithmetic and Reasoning 1 Thursday - 1 test - Reasoning 2
The Year 4 children will undertake the national multiplication tables check over the next two weeks.
Bartholomew Gee will be returning to school today to talk all about his disability and how this made him determined to succeed in all that he does - Turning Disability into Possibility.
Our Year 1 children will undertake their Phonics' Test during this week. Those children in Year 2 who didn't pass the screening check last year will re-take the screening check this week.
Children in Years 1/2/3/4 and 5 will undertake their end of year tests in the following areas: Reading Maths - Arithmetic and Reasoning Papers Some classes will undertake end of year tests in: Grammar Spelling
