The approach to administering these tests differ massively from Key Stage 2 SATs (national timelines). The tests can be administered at any time during the whole month of May. Not all children undertake the tests at the same time nor always on the same day.
This week, children nationally in Year 6 undertake their End of Key Stage 2 SATs (Standard Assessment Tests).
The 'Bikeability' instructors will be in school to work with our children in Reception and Year 1 on balance bikes. More details to follow nearer the time.
Children in Reception and Year 1 will take part in this new initiative.
Y6 children will have the opportunity to spend 5 days in the Ambleside (lake District). Please refer to the letter dated 23rd May for costing details.
