Events for October 17 - July 3

School re-opens today. Clubs operate as normal.

Governors will visit school during the week in accordance with their linked roles to school life and curriculum.

The annual School Sports Day events will take place on the field, weather permitting.

Today, we celebrate the school's Feast Day.

As part of the National Professional Qualification for Executive Leaders, I must attend the day's training session.

This week, we welcome students from St. Mary's for their week long placement.

Children in Year 1 will be undertaking the statutory Phonics Screening Check during this week. Those children in Year 2 who did not pass this Screening Check, must also re-take it during this week.

Children in Year 4 will undertake the statutory MTC (multiplication tables check). There is no pass mark for this check, unlike the Phonics Screening Check. It is generally assumed that 20 is a pass (80% accuracy).

As part of our work with the Consortia (16 local schools) we will be hosting the final monthly Reasoning Maths session of this academic year.
